The pool and hot tub were perfect after a full day out exploring, and breakfast was terrific. They also easily accommodated my gluten-free and dairy-free allergies. Everyone was so friendly, from Gabriel greeting us when we arrived to the rest of the staff. We never passed anyone without getting a hello. Our balcony looked straight at the Matterhorn, an incredible view, so ask for a room facing it. This made our Zermatt visit amazing. Highly recommend, and Zermatt is a must-visit in Switzerland.

We stayed two nights in a suite with a Matterhorn view and would gladly choose this hotel again on a future trip to this pretty town. The facilities downstairs were lovely, with a spa, jacuzzi, steam room and pool open until around 8 pm each day. Our room was spacious and clean, and the location was great. The balcony gave us a direct view of the mountain. What really set the place apart, though, was the service. Every person we met, from reception and the shuttle to breakfast and housekeeping, was cheerful and willing to go the extra mile with a smile. The women at reception and in the breakfast area were especially lovely. The hotel does seem to run with a lean team, so be patient while they do their best to help everyone.

My kids loved the indoor pool so much that we spent our evenings there. We also had a balcony with a view of the Matterhorn, which was a big plus, and breakfast was great with very nice people serving it. The room was pleasant, clean and practical, with comfortable beds, a safe, and a large clean bathroom. The towels were soft and nice. I wouldn't call the rooms luxurious, though.

We really appreciated how the staff went out of their way for our early departure, making sure we had food and transport to the train station. Breakfast is included, delicious, and a nice way to try some local food. We also enjoyed the pool, hot tub, sauna and steam room. The location worked well, about a seven-minute walk to the train station and even closer to shops and restaurants. My husband and I had a lovely honeymoon stay, and we'd definitely come back.
