Ramada by Wyndham Baden Hotel du Parc

I stayed three nights, and even after the room was cleaned, they didn't bother replacing the coffee pods. The rooms were stuffy and overheated, with no air conditioning or temperature control. Breakfast was awful. The scrambled eggs were runny and slimy, the chicken sausages were very greasy, and the cheese slices were half melted and stuck to the plate. The bad experience just kept going.

The hotel restaurant served delicious food, and I had a very pleasant 11-day stay in Baden. My room stayed clean, comfortable, and well maintained throughout. Staff were friendly and attentive, and management were supportive whenever I needed help. The location is especially handy, a short walk from the bus and metro stations and close to shops. There's also a lovely nearby park where you can unwind. One thing to keep in mind is that the rooms have no air conditioning or coolers. That's common in Switzerland because of the climate and environmental considerations, and it wasn't a major issue for me. I'd recommend the hotel for a comfortable trip to Baden.

A basic hotel. The bed was fine, but the breakfast restaurant felt a little cold. There was a damaged patch of floor in the room, covered with a mat, though I could still feel it underfoot. The shower head couldn't be fixed in place.

We couldn't cool the room down. It was unbearably hot, there was no air conditioning, and they didn't have an extra fan when I asked. Opening the windows wasn't possible because swarms of bugs were outside. On top of that, the glass doors on both the toilet and shower gave us no privacy. The room was so poorly designed that we couldn't leave the fan on without keeping the lights on all night. Sweating in a bright room with no privacy is not hospitality. One of the worst hotel stays I've had, completely unacceptable and not worth the money.
