Blue City Hotel

The shower water wasn't really hot, the lighting felt a bit dark, and the showerheads could use replacing or a thorough clean. The beds, pillows, and amenities were good, though. I liked the restaurant's relaxed feel and backyard, and the food was tasty. There was everything I needed at the hotel for a short stay, and getting around was easy: it's right by the train station, with hourly trains straight to the airport. The facilities and atmosphere were good, too. The standout was the service. Staff were extremely friendly and thoughtful toward both guests and the environment. I had a good stay and will most likely come back for work trips to Baden.

The room was bright, with a high ceiling and a nice design, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed breakfast, especially the automatic pancake machine, and dinner at the hotel's nice restaurant was great. It's near the railway station and a reasonable distance from the old town of Basel. One thing to improve is cleanliness: my fresh bathrobe had stains on it. I suspect it was a laundry issue rather than the hotel's. Thanks for a great stay!

The location made things easy, with parking just a few meters away and parks and the old town centre only a short walk. The spacious, comfortable room had a trendy feel, as did the hotel, and the restaurant was excellent. Service was the best I've experienced in Switzerland: prompt, courteous, and actually friendly. Everyone was kind and patient with my young child and energetic dog, especially the waitress at the restaurant. Delightful stay, highly recommended!

I really liked the business's ecological approach, and the breakfast was very good. Everything was clean, efficient, and friendly. I'd absolutely stay here again.
