The restaurant serves excellent cuisine and relies heavily on local producers. More Vacherin Mont D’Or cheese, please! We also found the staff friendly and helpful. It's a lovely, quiet inn in a quiet Swiss town, and our room was large, peaceful, modern, and a very fair price.

The little town of Ballaigues is nice to walk around, and the hotel itself was wonderful. Our large rooms were spotless and very quiet, with comfortable beds and pillows. Breakfast was generous and excellent, beyond what we'd hoped for. Dinner was very satisfying too, and we'll come back to try the desserts. Thank you.

I'm passing through from Italy to Paris and don't speak French, but these folks were so nice, patient, and attentive. The hotel is immaculate, which matters to me as a germaphobe. Dinner was outstanding: local country red, steak, fresh sautéed veggies, then creme brûlée. I'd come back to Switzerland just to stay here.

The staff were thoughtful, and both breakfast and dinner were amazing. I had one of the best burgers ever. The restaurant and hotel are very new and nice, highly recommended for a stay or at least a meal.
