Breakfast was at Werk8, about 100 m from the hotel. It included croissants, bread, jam, butter, ham, cheese, yogurt, fruit, orange juice, coffee, and tea. The neighborhood is quiet, with the nearest tram stop a 3 min walk away and Basel SBB station an 8 min walk away. The room was small but very clean. I stayed during the BaselWorld fair, when it cost 290 CHF per night.

It was clean and cozy, and most importantly, an easy walk from the train station, a COOP supermarket, and other facilities.

The rooms and bathrooms are clean and roomy, and the price feels fair. The only real downside is that breakfast isn't offered.

That little fridge and coffee maker were much appreciated, and the room itself was comfortable and clean. But we arrived at the end of a heat wave, and a tiny fan couldn't cool it down. During the cooler parts of the day, I’d suggest opening more windows in the shared areas to get air moving. At 35 degrees, that’s not a draft!

Fair enough for the price, especially if you're here for work. The bathroom and bed were clean, and you can make tea. I imagine it gets hot in summer.
