My dad and I stopped here for a bite while driving through the Swiss Alps, on our way back toward Milan Italy. It turned into one of the best parts of the trip, something we’ve kept talking about since we got home. We’ll be back for that steak!

The atmosphere was especially cozy on a sunny autumn day, and the food was creative, using local ingredients. One of the best meals we’ve had in Ticino during our five years here. Highly recommend.

We were so glad we stopped for lunch while crossing the pass. The food was stunning, paired with great local wine, and our host was gracious and friendly. It comes close to Michelin-starred dining, but feels all the better for it. Go if you care about fantastic food. The portions aren’t value-sized, and there’s no children’s menu.

The radio playing in the background really spoiled the mood, but everything else was perfect. The menu was amazing, the chef clearly has serious talent, and the ingredients were top quality. We had incredible hospitality, a lovely waitress, and a comfortable room.
