We found the apartments roomy and the kitchens well equipped, which made it easy to cook for ourselves and save on meals out. The location also worked well, within walking distance of public transport and the city center. The decor is a little dated, but the place was clean, had the amenities we needed, and the hosts were friendly. A good value for families or groups looking for a home-like stay in Bern.

The owners were friendly, helped with our questions, and looked after us whenever we needed anything. The apartment itself felt like somewhere you could comfortably stay for a while. It's close to the city center but tucked into a lovely, quiet area, so we slept well. I recommend staying here. Greetings from Austria.

Maxine met us when we arrived and showed us to the two-story apartment, which can sleep maybe eight. Our family of five had loads of room, and it was very clean, much better than a hotel. We could walk to the old town and river, and would absolutely stay here again or recommend it to families who need space after a long flight. There's a little balcony off the kitchen for coffee in the morning or a beer or wine in the evening, and the espresso machine made coffee easy. The kitchen also had a small balcony. The neighborhood is mostly embassies, and we enjoyed spotting the flags. Migros is just down the street, so we picked up breakfast groceries. The apartment includes a card for free tram and bus rides, which we used to get into the old town and back when we were tired.

Maxine moved us to the upper-floor apartment for our 10-day stay, and it was spacious, clean, and stocked with everything we could use, from coffee cups and biscuits to tea, marmalade, and chocolate. We brought our dog, who was welcome at no extra charge. Parking was free, and we got a pass for free streetcar rides. The hosts were so friendly and made us feel at home. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely come back.
