Mikail at the front desk and Darea, who served breakfast, were lovely, friendly employees, and the location is good. Still, as a retired hotel manager, I can’t recommend the place just on the strength of its staff. The rooms aren’t well maintained, the internet was the worst I’ve had in many years of travelling in Europe, and the complimentary breakfast was below average, especially the poor coffee machine. They don’t offer the free transport pass automatically, so you have to ask. I’d rate it 2.5 stars at best, not three. With investment from the owner, this could become a solid three-star hotel.

It’s at the end of the shopping and old town area, so it’s easy to get around there. Cross the river or bridge and you’ll find walking paths and parks if you want a break from the crowds. My room was clean and comfortable, and the restaurant had a cute, cozy feel.

The hotel is fine and well located, but there’s still an issue with my invoice. It was paid with a company card, and the hotel made an error on the bill. I emailed them and spoke with an employee, but a week later I’m still waiting for the corrected invoice.

The location was very good and the staff were great. Daria was especially friendly and helpful, and they even gave us a fan. Recommended!
