Hotel La Cabane

The staff even helped us find transport to a local clinic to check out a possible injury. We stayed here just before the Christmas holidays, and loved the wonderful rooms in this magical ski village. The Alpine honey was delicious too. Hats off!

The hotel is beautiful, with a really nice spa and ski room. The staff were professional, always around when needed, and always smiling. I absolutely loved my stay and can’t wait to come back.

We only had one night in the area, and now wish we could have stayed longer. I think our room was the “Junior Suite,” and it was gigantic. The website photos didn’t do it justice. The beds and other seating were comfortable, and we really liked the balcony. We felt lucky to have our room, though, since some of the other balconies might not have had much of a view. The staff were incredibly friendly. Breakfast was a real pleasure. At first, I wasn’t sure where to sit because the tables were set for different group sizes, but then I saw that each guest had a place card. Such a thoughtful touch that made us feel special. The breakfast was buffet style, with eggs cooked to order and a station for soft or hard boiled eggs. If we visit Bettmeralp again, I know where we’ll stay!

Everything feels thoughtfully and tastefully put together, from the spacious luxury rooms and modern bathrooms to the warm, welcoming service at this small family run hotel. Having private use of the sauna and wellness area was an unexpected bonus. There’s no dinner at the hotel, but Bettmerhof is just a short walk away and was recommended.
