Bever Lodge

The rooms are comfortable, with a large bed, a practical layout, and excellent soundproofing. The wardrobe is especially useful: it's roomy and multifunctional, and its door adds another barrier between the room and hallway. That was a handy detail for storing sports gear and clothes for changing weather. Everything was clean, too, with fresh linen and towels, and housekeeping was thorough each day. Engadine Bever Lodge has become a favorite for us, in summer as well as winter. There are plenty of slopes for alpine and cross-country skiing, and in warmer months we love the hiking and cycling trails, waterfalls, and panoramic views. It's a short walk from Bever train station, so getting here and visiting other towns in the valley is easy. It's a small, cozy, modern hotel with a sauna, bar, restaurant, and generous storage for bikes and skis, including space for maintenance and repairs. Breakfast is hearty and tasty, and the Wi-Fi is reliable for planning the day. The staff are friendly and helpful with local advice. We've stayed at many places in the Engadin, but we keep coming back. For me, it's the best hotel in the region, with a great mix of location, thoughtful design, warm service, and fair prices.

We ate really well here. Everything we tried was fresh and full of flavor, breakfast was a highlight, and dinner was just as good. The room was modern and cozy, with a natural feel and everything we needed to unwind. After a day in the mountains, those beds were especially welcome. From the moment I arrived, the staff were relaxed, kind, and on top of things. I felt looked after without any fuss. Bever Lodge is a bit of an underrated gem, and I’d happily come back.

The restaurant served very good food, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The wooden construction also gives the modern Lodge a warm feel. My room was spacious and well organized, though the thermostat doesn't show degrees, so I couldn't tell exactly what temperature I'd set. I tried the wellness area, but the Finnish sauna was only 82 degrees C and didn't feel very warm. There's no pool or jacuzzi. I'd recommend the place to solo travelers and couples. Families with younger kids may find there isn't much for them to do at the hotel. It also has excellent access to the Crosscountry trails.

The spa is so well looked after, and the whole place is immaculate. Staff were extremely professional, and the food was incredible, with generous portions at fair prices. Everything was just perfect.
