Hotel Della Posta

The rooms were basic, but had what we needed, and both the service and breakfast were great. It's definitely worth walking across the railway to see the waterfall.

The couple running the hotel are warm, welcoming and genuine, and the rooms have recently been renovated. It's close to the train station, which makes a good starting point for excursions around the area. My room was small, but very clean, and after hiking I appreciated the hot shower. Breakfast is basic, and the village is quite remote, though trains and buses make nearby cities easy to reach. The standard feels fair for the price.

At least there was bike storage and decent parking. The room got noisy with the windows open, but closing them made it hot, and there was no air conditioning. The shower and sink drains were clogged. Breakfast was very limited: we waited around ten minutes for bread, then had to ask specifically for ham and cheese. At check-in, nobody told us the breakfast time.

We grabbed a quick pizza and a drink. It tasted good, but the pizza was pretty small for what was a very high price. We sat outside facing the busy street and station, so there wasn't much atmosphere, though that didn't cost it any stars.
