The manager was so kind and accommodating that I'd happily come back. It’s an easy walk to the station, old town, shops, and restaurants, too.

We picked Hotel La Balance in Biel on our family's recommendation and stayed for three nights. The new owner communicated well and provided great service. Our room was clean, comfortable, and very nice, and the neighborhood was quiet. It’s close to the train station, grocery store, and cafes. We didn’t get to try the restaurant, but it was busy. If you want a small boutique hotel in a convenient spot in Biel, this is a good choice.

Clean, practical, and friendly, with what you need for a good stay. The host made me feel welcome, and I appreciated the call explaining how self check-in worked. Great value for Switzerland.

The new owner and manager was extremely friendly and quick to respond, and made sure everything included in the stay was handled smoothly and on time. The TV, WiFi, and other facilities all worked perfectly. The hotel is only a short walk from both the city center and the station. I really enjoyed staying here and recommend it if you want the practical parts of a hotel stay taken care of without a hitch.

The owner has only recently taken over Hotel Artus and is already improving and modernizing it. Service was great, everything was clean, and the location is convenient for the center. I had a lovely stay and can definitely recommend it.
