Water is everywhere here, with the place built over a river. It’s fantastic, wonderfully cool in summer, and so peaceful. The owner was nice, the bed was good, and breakfast and coffee were great. Magnificent, like a dream. I highly recommend it.

The setting is beautiful, with the rooms tucked into a lovely garden full of natural springs. Breakfast is plentiful and excellent. The apartments could be a bit cleaner, though.

I’ve stayed twice in annex room 2, which feels like my own place in Biel/Bienne, and slept like a baby both times. It has a rustic chalet feel, the charm of an old suburban villa, and the welcome of Grandma's house. The place seems untouched by time, with something unique, maybe even a little magical about it. Yet it’s just a 5-minute bus ride from the train station.

Just a minute from the old town, this is a wonderful place that we’d definitely recommend. The owner was very friendly and speaks some German. The price is reasonable, though a shared bathroom may not suit everyone. The house has so many lovely old details, including a cast-iron stove, a stone kitchen sink, and beautifully maintained stone and wood floors. Outside, several overgrown fountains make the garden feel magical and peaceful.
