The menu is fairly short, with some interesting dishes, though there’s hardly anything vegetarian. We only meant to stop for coffee and a glass of white wine on the way to .o they, but the terrace and the discreet, professional service made a great first impression. We were tempted to stay for lunch. A lovely place to pause and enjoy the food and excellent service.

We cancelled the second night soon after arriving. The place was clean, but old-fashioned and far too expensive: 130 without breakfast, plus 30 for each dog. Check-in is limited to three hours and involves paperwork that feels decades out of date. It’s about an hour’s walk to Vevey and sits on a busy road, though it was quiet at night. In my opinion, it’s a rip-off and I can’t recommend it.

The three-course menu costs CHF 59 and is great value for the quality. This is a top-notch restaurant with a cozy, relaxed feel, not stiff like many places in this category. It has 14 Gault Millau points and is one of the best in the region. Five stars!
