Elisabeths Bed and Breakfast

It’s a compact space, but it’s equipped well. The view is nice too.

We got married at this lovely bed and breakfast ten years ago, and we still think back on that day fondly. Elisabeth and her husband made us feel so welcome. Those memories will stay with us.

The terrace was a highlight, with a wonderful outlook over Bern, the mountains beyond, and the city lights at night. Even though the apartment is near the train station, it stayed pleasantly quiet. We also enjoyed breakfast with the hosts after they invited us: homemade bread and jam, great coffee, soft-boiled eggs, cheeses, and ham. There was plenty to start the day, and the kitchenette was handy for making a snack or light meal. Coffee, tea, and mineral water were provided. Elisabeth and Werner are such welcoming hosts, and clearly enjoy meeting people. They’re well-traveled, open-minded, tolerant, and friendly. The apartment itself is tastefully furnished and carefully equipped, with thoughtful details throughout. Elisabeth really has covered everything. We’d love to come back soon.

Elisabeth and Werner were so kind and helpful, and clearly put effort into making sure guests are comfortable. The studio was tidy and well cared for, suited us perfectly, and had good public transport links. We’d definitely recommend it.
