Carpe Diem is right by the lake, with brilliant views. The station is opposite and the dock is next door, so getting around is easy. Inside, the house is well laid out, with generous bedrooms, two great bathrooms, and a huge shared area with lots of seating for breakfast or an evening together. The host is a lovely lady who did everything she could to make us comfortable. We had an absolutely wonderful stay.

The apartment was clean, tidy and fully equipped, with three bedrooms across the grand floor and basement. We had a really unforgettable 9 days in Monique and Sandor Romantica chalet. It had a classic Swiss apartment feel and was very comfortable. The garden was beautiful, especially the grapes, raspberries and flowers, and the place was even lovelier in person than in the photos. The balcony was a great spot for coffee with a spectacular view. We loved having breakfast at the round dining table overlooking Brienz lake, and didn’t need to go anywhere else for it. Brienz put all our destinations within easy reach. The train station, dock for boat trips on the lake, supermarket and restaurants were all walking distance from the chalet. Monique and Sandor, thank you for being so kind and helpful.
