Our ground-floor room was spacious and comfortable, with a backyard where we could hang clothes and take a walk. The owner was friendly and chatty, and gave us some toiletries for free. We were delighted to be the first Taiwanese guests here. We found the hotel at the last minute after a flood warning in Zermatt stopped trains and buses from entering, and we were very happy with our stay. A couple of things might matter to other guests: because the room opens directly onto the backyard, we had to catch a few insects and release them outside. Also, the bathroom doesn't offer much privacy, which could be a consideration if several people share the room. The bread at breakfast was delicious, but the serving was more than we could eat. A buffet might help avoid food waste.

We came for a quick night's sleep and ended up staying an extra day. The hosts were wonderful, and the location was great for exploring the area. Best hotel in the world.

The shower was at the end of the hall, but it was clean and worked well. Our room was comfortable and clean, and the people running the hotel made us feel welcome and were friendly despite the language difference. I really enjoyed staying here and wouldn't hesitate to come back.

My ground-floor room had a terrace with a table and chairs. The hotel and room were fine, nothing special, though sound carried a bit and the bed was too small for me, even if it was decently sized. The staff were very kind and helped with everything to make the stay comfortable. Breakfast was good, served from 8 to 10, though an earlier time can be arranged. You can choose your bread in advance, and there was also muesli, yogurt, salami, and more.

We stopped for a quick overnight to recharge between mountain biking days, and loved it. The staff were so friendly and helpful.
