We got stuck waiting for a car repair unexpectedly, and they let us wait in the restaurant and offered us a drink until the car was ready. The staff were kind, the view was lovely, and our room was clean.

Buochs is a pretty village with a lovely lake for watersports and a great airport for aviation fans. We had dinner for three outside by the lake, and it was marvelous. The Pizza Bismarck, Pizza Capriocciosa and Pizza Diavola were all incredible, and dessert was fantastic too. The crew were lovely and attentive. I’d highly recommend stopping here whether your trip is short or long, on the way to or from your holiday.

The lake view and location were excellent, and service was quick and friendly. We stayed for one night on our bike trip from Zurich to Bern. The staff welcomed us and were accommodating, and the room was clean and comfortable, though it looked old. Dinner brought some great Italian pizza. We had Margherita and Napoli, both with thin crust that was crisp outside and soft inside. One thing about the Napoli: its sardines were brined, not fresh, and very salty. If I’d known, I would’ve left them off. Prices at the restaurant felt average for Switzerland.

The lake and mountain views are beautiful, and these pizzas are incredible. I haven’t had pizza like this in years. I tried the Cabonara pizza and Diavolo, both fresh, light, and super tasty. Thanks for looking after us, guys. I’d love to come back.
