Artist Apartments & Hotel Garni

Richard, our host and owner, made the stay fun and informative, picking us up from the train station and dropping us off when we left. We had charming, well-equipped rooms, with beautiful views from the balcony and large patio. We also made and enjoyed a delicious fondue dinner with our host. I enjoyed every minute at the artists apartment and hotel garni. We spent our days alternating between hiking and cycling to take in the beauty of Zermatt.

Is Richard for real? Such a great host and lovely service. His hospitality amazed me. The rooms were immaculate, spacious, and very clean. He was flexible, picked us up at the station, and explained the room and the surroundings. I'd recommend this place to anyone. It's the best I've ever stayed in.

These photos were taken from our room. The apartment was lovely, spotless, and everything worked. Richard was always ready to help with whatever we needed. We used the Luchre bus stop, which was great, and we always got a seat with our skis. I'd highly recommend this place.

Richard was wonderful during our honeymoon and let us choose between two rooms. He was great about making arrangements. We had some trouble finding the place, but when we called, he said he would have picked us up from the train station if we'd called earlier. The room was lovely and quiet, with plenty of space, a nice kitchenette, and great views. There's a picture from our balcony. We'd do our best to stay here again when we bring our boys back.
