Hitrental Cham Apartments

There were four adults in our group, and the apartment wasn't clean properly. It smelled damp throughout, the shower curtain was disgusting, and water still ran out of the shower tray. The fitted carpet smelled foul and should be removed, and the whole place needs an upgrade. It was terribly hot, with no air conditioning. We were sleeping in two separate rooms, but there was only one fan, so we opened the windows and ended up with mosquitoes in the apartment. When we called to ask for another fan, they said they couldn't bring one that day and we'd have to wait until the next day. We stayed two nights, and the experience was horrible.

Good value, and there's a park nearby where we'd get up each morning for a short walk in the sun. The room had cleaning supplies, and they provide a washing machine for free. 10/10.

We stayed in the orchid 1 flat, and the living room smelled strongly of urine and sweat. There were four of us but only two pillows. When we called about it and followed up by email, they dismissed the complaint and said the pillows must be there, so we had to borrow some from nearby friends. The shower has a smelly curtain instead of a glass panel, and it doesn't stop water from getting everywhere, especially onto the toilet paper holder. The carpet was old, stained, and very dusty; the walls were scratched and dirty, and so was the furniture. There's an Indian restaurant inside the building, and the smell of Indian food is there all day.

Good local services and facilities, and a great location. It's a two-minute walk to the train station, then just a few minutes by train to Zug.
