B&B Burignon

The room and property were nice, but finding the room turned into a chaotic 90-minute ordeal. There was no staff on site, no reply to my messages on the official WhatsApp, and no proactive information about my room assignment. Without help from a third party, I wouldn't have known which room was ours. Getting there by car after dark was difficult too. The approach road is extremely narrow, and Google Maps first sent me to the wrong place. The sound insulation was poor enough that I could clearly hear footsteps from the room above. Waking up to them at 5:30 in the morning was not a pleasant surprise.

Our favorite moment at Domaine Burignon was sipping Chasselas on the terrace as the sun set over the lake and mountains. The hosts were friendly and told us about the local wine production. It's a working winery, with comfortable, well-kept rooms and plenty of rustic charm. Set above Lake Geneva among the Lavaux vineyards, the guesthouse has stunning panoramic views, especially at golden hour. It's also a handy base for walking the vineyard trails and visiting nearby villages like Epesses and Saint-Saphorin. The historic building is quiet, and wine tasting is available. Bring comfortable walking shoes and a camera, the scenery is beautiful from every angle.

Our group of 11, across three families, had a great stay at the winery. We booked three rooms, the two suites and the largest apartment, and the setup worked really well. Anne helped us organize everything, including a wine tasting of the local wines. The rooms are spacious and the view is amazing. We could eat together in the garden and use the barbecue. The walk down to the lake is steep but fairly short, and the kids loved swimming there. We'd definitely like to come back.

The view from our room over Lake Geneva was spectacular, with nothing blocking it. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was tidy and clean, and the bathroom was sanitary. The train station was just a short walk away, making it easy to travel anywhere.
