The weekday lunch is a good deal for Switzerland: CHF 22 gets you a fresh green salad and a main. I tried the chicken and rice, even though I usually avoid rice in Swiss or French restaurants, and it was cooked perfectly. With dessert and a large sparkling water to share, two of us paid CHF 30 each. We’ve also enjoyed the fish and the steak with fries on earlier visits. Both were delicious and cooked just right. The Auberge is easy to reach by the exit towards Divonne Les Bains, has plenty of reserved customer parking, and always has a funny quote out front. Service is excellent in both French and English, and they make us feel welcome. Highly recommend it.

The atmosphere is relaxed, and the staff are friendly and attentive. There’s a good wine selection, too. In summer, the terrace is pleasant, with comfortable space between tables, and there’s a public car park close by. The menu has plenty to choose from, with dishes that taste great and are presented impressively. Keep up the good work!

I hadn’t visited in years, and the changes are excellent. We sat outside in the wonderful sunshine and didn’t go indoors. The terrace was lovely. There’s a broad menu, some very nice wines, and the food is beautifully presented. Staff were friendly and professional, and parking was easy. It isn’t inexpensive, but the visit was well worth it.

I slept really well in the comfy bed, and I loved the room. The staff were great, and there were shower gels for both body and hair in the bathroom. The balcony had a beautiful view and was available for smokers. You get a special key if you want to come back to the hotel at 4 a.m. The price gets an 8/10 from me. The one annoyance was a beeping noise from one of the lights that kept me awake. Still, I’d rate the stay 9/10.
