They asked me to pay a full month upfront even though I stayed only 12 days. When I asked whether I’d get a refund if I left early, they said it wouldn’t be a problem. I followed up several times by text, email, and through the agency that sent me to this dump. Before leaving, I tried to reach them, but reception was empty and nobody answered the phone. So I left the keys in the room and told the agency to follow up and pass on that I’d left them there. They didn’t answer either. Calling the place disgusting hardly covers it. I hope I never have to stay in a hotel this dirty again. They don’t care about the guest, only the money. They’re clearly happy keeping what they took, and should spend it all on medicine.

I booked a month here during the pandemic and was very disappointed. The first room they showed me smelled awful, was filthy, and was noisy because the door wouldn’t shut properly. Someone had also unplugged the fridge and left its doors open, which made the stench even worse. After I complained, they moved me to another room. It was somewhat more bearable, even with a neighbor who chain-smoked and coughed about every ten seconds. With practically no soundproofing, it sounded like he was in my room. I had to start a new job at 5 a.m. the next day, so I more or less had to stay. The whole building smells musty. The shared toilets and bathrooms were dirty and smelly, and the communal kitchen was filthy. I don’t even want to imagine how dirty the kitchen of the now-open restaurant is. Don’t eat there under any circumstances. I think it’s outrageous to offer something like this. Thank God my stay was only temporary. This house should be torn down.

For anyone renting long-term, giving this place two stars is a big mistake. The smell is musty and the kitchenette is dirty. The small-room rental agreement runs three pages, and the setup meant I had to pay 300 Swiss francs for a week in a cramped cell. I don’t recommend it.
