I loved the old-fashioned touch of being given a real key. The coffee was delicious, especially with their Swiss cocoa mixed in. The hotel is close to the center, restaurants, shops, lifts, and hiking trails, and the views from our spacious room were extraordinary. There was plenty of room in the big bathroom for all our things. This is my favorite hotel I've ever stayed in, and I can't wait to return. The town, food, drinks, people, and hikes were all wonderful too.

It felt like home here, with a warm, cozy atmosphere and no stuffiness. The hotel is charming and family and pet friendly, though it isn't especially modern and hasn't yet been renovated. It must have been top notch in its day. Our room and bathroom were comfortable and spacious, and I loved taking a bath each evening after skiing. Every room has a private balcony overlooking the mountains. The hotel sits on a small hill above Crans Montana, so the views are splendid, and it's just a few steps to downtown and the ski lifts. My family and I stayed between Christmas and New Year's and had a great experience. The staff were welcoming and the service was excellent. I recommend it, as long as you're not expecting modern facilities.

Some of the decor hasn't been renovated, and the staff seemed a little under pressure. Still, if older style doesn't bother you and you value effort and character over perfection, I think you'll enjoy it. My family and I felt at home thanks to the friendly, welcoming hospitality. The room had a spectacular view, the bathroom was well equipped and had a large tub, and the breakfast and dinners were fresh and well served. The ski lift is five minutes away. Thanks to everyone.

The view from our rooms was hard to beat. It's a beautiful ski resort above two lakes.
