Dinner was really good, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. We speak English and only know a few words in German and French, but we managed to communicate just fine. The location is stunning, with easy walks to nearby birding spots.

The setting is lovely, though I wasn't sure they actually wanted to sell us anything. Thanks!

The terrace food didn't particularly stand out, and the wine by the glass was limited and pretty pricey for what it was. I had lunch here the other day while a birthday party of 25 was going on, which seemed to affect the service. Being close to the German-speaking part of the country showed in the tap water charge, even though we ordered beer or wine. We felt that was abusive, so we took one star off our rating.
