Mr. Markus at the spa was a highlight, and you should book a treatment with him if you visit. The spa is spacious, very clean, smells lovely, and has a huge range of amenities and activities, all with high quality products. Our large, comfortable room had everything we needed, and the housekeeping team kept the whole hotel spotless. The restaurant uses very fresh, pure ingredients, with prompt, professional service. Reception were kind, quick to help, and thoroughly professional, especially Laura, Antonia,Nattvaranne and Iva. The facilities feel just about perfect, and AMERON Davos is a luxurious place to properly unwind. I’ll definitely come back for a longer stay.

The ski room was chaotic, with no assigned places for skis or boots, so people end up taking gear that just looks like theirs. Also, dogs are allowed, which could be a problem if you have allergies. We found small hairs on the sheets, carpet, and cushions. Our family had several rooms, and they were very far apart, so check where yours are located. The lifts may be described as within walking distance, but they’re actually about 1 km away, or two bus stops. The buses were overcrowded and getting on involved a lot of pushing.

We had a great stay in a very central spot, with bus routes connecting to the different ski areas. The rooms were lovely, and the staff were really helpful.

The bar was good, and the staff were so courteous. The rooms are well equipped, and there are thoughtful extras, like warm milk with honey at bedtime if you call, a pillow menu, and relaxation tips. Dinner at the Italian restaurant can be hit or miss, so I’d choose dishes from the full à la carte menu instead of half board. Breakfast was average. The location is great.
