THE ALPS' BEST BURGER! We usually make a detour to try the legendary Cheeseburger at this little spot inside the Gotschna Gondola Station. Getting there on skis takes a bit of effort, but it's so worth it. Highly recommend!!!
Honestly, it’s not worth paying 10 CHF for tap water, 75 cl if I remember right. Sparkling or still water costs the same, haha. The hotel itself was fine, and so were dinner and breakfast. I’d drink before you go in and once you’re out.
A cozy place high up on the mountain, with recently renovated rooms. Dinner and breakfast were both great.
It took an hour and a half for the fondue to arrive. One of the slowest restaurants I’ve been to.
The scenery is stunning, and they do have a decent breakfast deal for 11.50. Still, the visit left a bad impression. I paid 16 ChF for a cappuccino and two glasses of milk for my 3 and 6 year old. The milk was served piping hot, not warm, and the waitress wasn’t especially happy either. I hadn’t checked the menu beforehand, but even allowing for Switzerland being perceived as expensive, that milk price felt out of touch.
