We had a bad experience with Frosch and this hotel. Several things need improvement. Check-in is at 16.00 and check-out at 10.00. For people arriving early in the morning on an organized tour, waiting until 16.00 to check in is ridiculous. The ski rental also has very limited hours, and you can rent skis without boots only, which makes you wonder what the rental is for. On our first ski day, we arrived at 9.25, before its 9.30 closing time, but it was already shut. We had to rent elsewhere and pay an extra fee. Breakfast had a poor selection, and the time allowed for breakfast and dinner was very short, just 1.5h. We also didn’t understand why the food was presented every day, since it took extra time and caused queues. Staff ate alongside the guests, and when we arrived later, there were times when the food had run out. The sauna closes at 19.00 and gets very crowded after skiing. Why not keep it open until at least 22.00? There was no room service or cleaning during our stay, so we had to ask for fresh towels and for the trash to be taken away. In general, it felt like the hotel was arranged for staff comfort instead of guests, and it needs proper management. We wouldn’t recommend booking a vacation through Frosch. There are many other companies and hotels that can provide much better service for the same money.

Its central spot on Promenade in Davos Platz makes Club Hotel Davos convenient for groups, ski clubs, and families. The rooms-only setup offers straightforward comfort for active travelers. It’s close to the Jakobshorn gondola and Davos Platz station, which is useful if getting to the slopes and public transport matters more than full-service amenities.

The restaurant staff made this stay especially memorable. My husband and I spent a week skiing with half board, and we were so happy with the meals. Everything was tasty, fresh, and plentiful. The manager kept a close eye on how things were going and took care of anything we needed right away. Special thanks to Lucia and Marco for such perfect service. They made us feel special. I was also surprised by the room details and the size of the hotel. It’s a 3 star hotel, but it has a swimming pool, and the rooms were very clean and cozy. We enjoyed the sauna too. Nothing fancy, just perfect for a ski trip and well worth the money. I’d recommend it to all our friends, and we’ll definitely come back.

The breakfast waiter, Stefano, was very kind and cool! :)) The rest of our stay was one of the worst accommodation experiences I’ve had. There wasn’t enough hot water for a shower, and the swimming pool was cold. They charged each person 89 CHF for a one-day ski pass even though the ski Center was closed. They said that wasn’t their responsibility. It wasn’t ours either. You can’t charge for a service you can’t provide.

I stay here every year. It’s basic, but great, and I’m happy to recommend it. The staff are all lovely, the rooms are fine, the showers get very hot, and the beds are comfortable. Breakfast is alright, though it could have more variety.
