Breakfast was fine, with no complaints about the food. The night before, the electricity kept cutting out every 30 seconds after we’d settled into our room. We were on the top floor, where the wifi didn’t reach at all. There was just one employee, the receptionist, when we arrived and were shown to our room. Later, as we left for the main town of Davos, we saw that the sole employee had gone.

We stopped for coffee and enjoyed fantastic views. The coffee and service were good. I can’t speak to the rooms.

The host has a real entrepreneurial spirit, and the place is clean, cosy and comfortable. I hope they manage to open the restaurant before the summer is over.

The place has a unique ambience and doesn’t feel like just a hotel, and the staff are friendly. The food tasted great, especially the winter truffle ravioli, which was really yummy. It is expensive, though.

After 30 years, this is still the best cheese fondue I’ve ever had. The cosy atmosphere gives it a fairy-tale feel, and the quality for the price is excellent.
