After a long ski, I stopped by the bar in Dischma. Stephan, the waiter, made my evening with perfect service and a happy smile. Shoutout to the whole team, such positive, cheerful people.

This family-run alpine hotel is right on the Promenade in central Davos Dorf, close to the Parsennbahn. It has a relaxed feel, practical amenities, and full wellness facilities. The comfortable stay and convenient location make it popular with outdoor enthusiasts, families, and business visitors, and it offers good value for a three-star experience.

I was there for work for four nights, and the affordable price, friendly staff, and good breakfast made for a nice stay. The room was cleaned every day and the hotel is well situated, about a 10-minute walk from Davos Dorf. My only small complaints were the shower curtain and a slightly damaged shower-head pipe. I’d definitely stay again and recommend it to friends and coworkers.

The hotel was in a great spot for both town and the triathlon venues, and the price was very competitive with other hotels. I booked several months ahead for five days, traveling solo for the Davos triathlon, and chose a single room to keep costs down. It was cozy, with a good shower, plenty of hot water, and decent pressure. A kettle and a small fridge for things like milk and yoghurt would have been useful. This family-run place felt warm and friendly, even if it isn’t five-star luxury. Breakfast each morning was lovely, with fresh bread, eggs, meats, cheeses, cereal, fruit, and yoghurt. There was also a lovely mountain view from the breakfast area and my balcony.

I liked the privacy that came with staying at a smaller hotel, and the price was good too. The wellness area was clean, quiet, and nice, and the staff were really friendly. Breakfast was good, and they offered an egg. I’d recommend it.
