The room is quiet, with a balcony I really loved, a great view, and a location right in the middle of town. Check-in was easy, though I had some issues with the security code and the team quickly issued me a physical card. The beds, though, are the worst in the entire world. I travel for work and sleep in hotels weekly, and the beds at the Morosani 51 are as soft as melted marshmallow. The pillows are so soft, I think they forgot the feathers and just covered a cloth with a pillowcase. If you have back issues like I do, this bed setup will become your worst nightmare!

Once I got through check-in, I had a very pleasant stay. The hotel is really nice, especially for the price, and that view is wow. The check-in process was the only real negative: the computer screen was difficult to use, and my card key didn't work at first.

The location at Platz is great, and the rooms and bathrooms are nice and modern. There's a ski room on the ground floor and free parking. There's no breakfast, but we went to Cafe Klatsch. Staff across the road in the Morosani were helpful. A few small things were frustrating: the room heating can't be adjusted, sound carries from the echoey corridors, and there aren't enough hooks. The media hub struggles to play music from a phone, and there's a bizarre TV in the bathroom mirror that can't be turned off.

The room was a good size, with a large shower cabin and good WiFi. There are lots of restaurants nearby. Since this is a room-only hotel, I was a bit disappointed there was no tea maker or fridge.

The bedroom was huge, even with the kids, and very clean. The location was great, and the hotel workers were the nicest. I'll definitely come back when I'm in Davos.
