We paid 325 CHF per night for four nights and were very disappointed. On arrival there was vomit on the bathroom wall and door. We had to ask three times before it was cleaned properly. One evening, after a full day on the ski slopes, the shower only had ice-cold water. The stone-tiled bathroom floor was also extremely cold. We turned up the heating to warm it, but cleaning staff switched it off while we were out. Management never responded when we raised these problems. We were still charged the full amount, and the bill included two ski passes that were incorrect. Breakfast needs a serious upgrade as well. I haven’t experienced such a low standard of products at a hotel breakfast in a long time.

The pub was a real treat, with a live DJ, great service, and tasty food. The restaurant also looked like a lovely place, and the piano player would have made a meal special, though we didn’t eat there. We stayed three nights at Hotel Parsenn in December 2025 to attend a game at the Spengler Cup. On Christmas Eve we were warmly welcomed and shown to our room very quickly. Breakfast was substantial, and the staff there were very friendly. After skiing or exploring, the small lounge with its fireplace, afternoon soup, and treats was cozy and thoughtfully provided. Family Fopp and their team have made this a real home away from home. It was comfortable, clean, and welcoming.

The staff were professional, helpful, and attentive throughout, especially at reception. Breakfast was better than average, with a buffet that wasn’t extensive but was perfectly adequate. I liked the regional cheeses, freshly squeezed orange juice, and eggs and omelets made to order. The pastries were industrial, though, and one jar of Bircher muesli was clearly past its prime. Paying closer attention to expiration dates would help avoid potential food safety issues. Our room was spacious and functional, but the sloped attic ceiling meant we had to duck our heads getting into bed. The bathroom and shower were both basic and rather small. The beds were comfortable, but one large double mattress would have been better than two small ones pushed together. The hotel has a well-equipped ski storage room, accessed by stairs leading out to the street. There’s also a bar-restaurant, though we didn’t try it because the menu didn’t appeal to us. Guest parking is available for a fee. The entrance steps and the area around them were covered in slippery snow and ice, even though the entrances to surrounding buildings had been cleared. Clearing the hotel entrance seems essential for accessibility and safety. The building itself feels dated and needs renovation. Wall-to-wall carpet is everywhere, the old elevator is tiny and impractical, and rooms across several floors and mezzanines are laid out chaotically. Stairs between wings and other architectural obstacles would make the hotel unworkable for guests with reduced mobility. Still, the location is excellent, right in the heart of Davos and directly opposite the funicular up to the ski slopes. It’s a convenient choice for skiing, with rooms that offer basic comfort and a genuinely good breakfast, despite the dated decor and facilities.

A lovely family-run Hotel Parseen, with a great location, clean rooms, friendly service, and a good breakfast. Good value too, and especially popular with skiers in Davos Switzerland 🇨🇭 Snow ❄️ is wonderful. Visit and enjoy 😉

The restaurant was a highlight. Even though we hadn’t booked and it was nearly full, they found us a table, and the service was flawless. The room was comfortable, with exceptionally high-quality bedding. We also had ski lockers that opened with our room card. We spent two days at the Parsenn Hotel in Davos, and it was an unforgettable stay. From arrival, we were made very welcome. Within five minutes, we had ski passes for both days, a place to rent skis with a 15% discount, and a covered parking spot for the car. The hotel brings together an authentic, family atmosphere and modern touches. Thanks to the team, our time in Davos was a great success!
