The only possible plus is the location, just outside Zurich. For 20 CHF more a night, you could stay at a much better hotel in the city centre. A double room is 150 CHF per night, and I couldn't find anything else positive. There's no air conditioning. The thermostat is there, but the hotel has deactivated the AC; they said they have an “air system, but no AC.” There was no restaurant, despite the sign saying there was, and no mini fridge, extra pillows, or blankets. The corridors smelled like a retirement home. Signs banning things like big bags, cooking, and smoking were everywhere, literally. The windows face other windows, and the curtain is so thin there's no privacy unless you keep the blinds and window closed. In August, the room was 32 degrees. The parking area was extremely tight to maneuver in, some spaces were only 1.80m wide, and it was dark with no lights.

Three stars is too generous. The rooms are small, old, and basically clean, nothing more. It's far from the centre. At breakfast every morning, a young woman with blonde hair in a ponytail was rude and spoke badly to people. Those people are your customers, and they pay you.

The two things going for it are being near Aldi and the train station. Dietikon is also very close to Zurich and the Rhine falls. If it's the only place you can afford, I'd keep the stay to one or two nights at most. There was no AC, the fan was dirty, and the receptionists seemed like they didn't want to be there. After a long journey, we arrived to find a random dog barking at us in reception. The place didn't feel safe, so I'd take your valuables with you when you go out for the day.

Breakfast was nice, the bed was really comfortable, and the price seemed fair for the Zurich area. There are nice restaurants nearby, too. The reception service was perfect, and the rooms seemed renovated and were very clean. For a 3-star hotel, it deserves five Google stars.

No refrigerator, and the AC didn't work. Service was poor. The tea bags were old and wrinkled, like they hadn't been replaced in ages, and nobody seemed willing to use them. The coffee machine was good, though. We couldn't get internet either. Management and reception couldn't connect us, even after several attempts, and they didn't even offer a username and password, saying there were “technical problems.” My colleagues had the same issue. The price may be cheaper for someone from Switzerland, for hotels in the Zurich region.
