The rooms were roomy and quiet, with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Breakfast starting at 6:30 am was handy on conference mornings. We were there for a congress at the SwissTech Convention Center, just steps from the SwissTech Hotel. The metro station right outside also made public transit easy. Check-in and the messages before we arrived were smooth and professional. It was especially helpful to get the public transportation card in advance, and the welcoming reception team explained clearly how to enter the building after hours. We were very happy with the stay, especially as congress attendees.

That view of the trams that aren't in use is so nice to get lost in. This is absolutely top tier, I haven't stayed in a hotel this good in a while.

Getting into Lausanne's city center takes a while, so the location isn't the most convenient for getting around. The room itself was clean and spacious, though. I found the entrance uninviting, and there were only twin beds available. Being above a train station also means it can get noisy.

Right in the middle of EPFL, so the location is excellent. The room was clean and spacious, and the staff were very kind. Breakfast was a little basic for 16 CHF.

I could hear the metro with the windows shut, but the sound insulation kept it from bothering me. The hotel is right next to the station, so getting there is easy, and EPFL is only a few minutes away on foot. My room was very clean and tidy, and the reception staff were incredibly friendly. Breakfast was okay, but the food selection was quite limited.
