The staff were extremely friendly, and there was a spot where kids could run around and burn off energy. It had the feel of a 1960s American roadside motel. Our room was large but basic, with an updated bathroom. The floor hadn’t been updated and was a little dirty, though the sheets and towels were clean and good quality.

The room stayed at a comfortable temperature during my mid-December visit. I was in a small single room in a separate building with an American motel feel. It was comfortable and had what I needed for one night in transit. The hotel is about 1 km from the motorway.

Getting here from the motorway is easy, and there’s plenty of parking. Hotel Egerkingen AG worked well as a quiet stop to meet someone or take a meal break during a trip. The restaurant has a comfortable indoor space and a pleasant garden terrace for warmer days. The menu offers a decent range of quality dishes, though prices are on the high side for a hotel. Service was professional, and the surroundings were peaceful. 🌿🌞🚗🍽️

We stopped in to eat almost by chance and were really happy we did. The buffet dinner was wonderful, and my son ordered à la carte. Everything was great. The staff were kind and even helped us deal with an emergency. People are what make a place special, and we’re grateful to them.
