H+ Hotel Sonnwendhof Engelberg

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely local hotel. The view from the room was amazing, and everything was clean and organized. The staff were super friendly, welcoming us with helpful tips and personalized notes in the room. My only problem was the low-quality mattress and pillow, which kept me from sleeping well. I’d still highly recommend the place.

The location couldn’t be better for a long ski weekend, and reception and the rest of the staff were kind and helpful. My five year old spent hours in the playroom, while I enjoyed the traditional breakfast with local products and scrambled eggs. There’s also a lovely little sauna and relaxation area. We loved how cozy and well run the hotel was. Thanks for such a nice stay!

The Alps views from the balconies were priceless, and having one off every room was a great touch. Our rooms were cozy, welcoming, and spacious enough for the time we spent there. I stayed a couple of nights with a traveling group, and this was easily my favorite hotel. The friendly service and delicious breakfast were a great start. I hope to come back with friends or family. Thanks for your hospitality, and hope to see you soon.

The little touches really stayed with me, like the personal welcome message and smiley faces on the eggs. We came as a family and were warmly received at the Sonnenwendhof. The rooms were spacious, the playroom was fantastic, the staff were lovely and helpful, and breakfast was delicious. The location is perfect, and parking is available. I hope we can come back.
