4/10
The room felt cozy and welcoming, with tasteful decor, which was a real plus. Still, the Portuguese wine we were recommended wasn't as good as we'd hoped, and none of the dishes we tried made much of an impression. Maybe we picked the wrong things from the menu, but we left without wanting to come back for more. We arrived looking forward to a lovely evening and a great meal, so it was a shame the restaurant fell short. We think it has potential, and hope the team takes this as constructive feedback. Wishing them continued growth and success.

The room was chilly because the heating was set so low. I tried adjusting the dial, but it didn't help, and there was no phone in the room to call for assistance. Better instructions for the heating would help, since the dial clearly didn't work. Otherwise, it was a nice self-service guest house hotel.

When my suitcase padlock jammed, the chefs kindly cut it off for me. The staff were very helpful.
