Avoid Touchbed St. Gallen. My stay was a nightmare, with privacy concerns, a payment dispute and being refused service after paying in full. There is no physical reception or staff onsite. They require passport photos through channels I consider insecure, which I believe creates a serious risk of identity theft and data leaks. Reviews from several years ago suggest to me that this has been an ongoing issue they haven't fixed. The owner, in my experience, was dishonest and changed the booking price arbitrarily. After my payment had been confirmed and completed, he tried to get more money following a misunderstanding of the situation. Despite being fully paid, I was refused service and evicted. That was completely unacceptable and felt like a total scam. This business has badly let down the hospitality industry and gives the beautiful city of St. Gallen a bad name. Do yourself a favor and book somewhere else where your privacy and customer rights are respected.
