Hüsmatta (Michael Gschwendtner)

Michael and Ursula made our five days in Fieschertal especially memorable. When our car gave us trouble, Michael called several local garages, found a mechanic who could help, and handled the repair arrangements to make sure everything was in order. We really appreciated how attentive and kind they were. The house itself is fully equipped and sits at the edge of a small village beneath the Aletsch glacier. The dining room and bedroom have fantastic views, and the home and location would have earned five stars on their own.

The apartment was comfortable, with lots of thoughtful little things that made the stay easier. But what we’ll remember most is how the owners helped us when our car broke down and kept checking that we were okay. Such kind hosts, and a real pleasure to stay there. Thank you!

We felt at home from the minute we arrived. Michael and Ursel welcomed us so warmly, were always around for questions, and couldn’t have been friendlier or more helpful. The apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable, relaxing stay, and we didn’t miss a thing. We had a fantastic time and would happily recommend it.

Five lovely days at the Hüsmatta. The apartment is pretty, well cared for and fully equipped, and it’s in a peaceful, attractive spot. It took us 5-6 minutes by car to reach the cable car station for Fiescheralp. Our hosts were very friendly and attentive. We’d gladly return anytime and warmly recommend the apartment.
