The checkout left such a bad final impression that I can't recommend the hotel. Until then, our stay had been very good. The property is old but well maintained, the price felt like good value, the spa was very nice, service during the stay was good, and the shuttle to the ski lifts was convenient and efficient. At checkout, we were told we couldn't leave our luggage there, so we had to carry everything back to the car. After a full day of skiing and before a long drive home, we asked if we could take a shower to freshen up. The answer was simply no, with no alternative or flexibility. We ended up changing clothes in the parking lot. For a ski hotel, where late departures and post-ski showers seem standard, that was extremely disappointing and frankly unacceptable. A little flexibility would have changed the whole experience. This could have been a five-star stay.

The spa and restaurant were highlights, and the food was amazing. The property and service were excellent, and it's an easy walk from the bus stop. We enjoyed our stay, though the rooms could use an update, especially the bathroom. The shower is extremely small, and the finishes didn't feel four-star to me.

Breakfast service was outstanding. The staff were incredibly attentive and quick to bring us excellent coffee. The gym has great equipment but is much too small, so once there are more than two people it's hard to exercise on a mat. The spa was decent, though busy at peak times, and the sauna was a nice touch. The bar and water station could use some care and a more polished look.

The location was lovely, with beautiful views on walks nearby, and the hotel was comfortable and clean. I stayed for two days and had a wonderful time. The service, spa, and gym were all great. Todor deserves a special thanks for the delicious food and for having such good options for my gluten-free diet. Manager Branko also made the stay extra special by going out of his way to find me a table with a fantastic view. I'll definitely come back.
