Landhus Zurich

The lady at reception was super nice and speaks six languages fluently. The staff are all very friendly, and there's internet available. The place is good and the location is great, right by the tram stop. The rooms are okay, nothing fancy. Breakfast is basic but tasty, and the coffee was delicious and strong. Loved it!

Breakfast was good, and the price felt fair for what we got. The receptionist spoke six languages and everyone was super friendly. It’s a little way from downtown Zurich, though there’s a tram stop almost beside the hotel. Even with buses and trams nearby, we didn’t hear much noise. The room was a bit hot, so we opened the windows, and the blinds were good enough that we could sleep during the day.

The restaurant service was warm and really good, and the salad tasted super fresh. I didn’t stay at the hotel, so this is just about the restaurant. It’s a shame the place is closing soon.

The staff and restaurant made this feel like a family-run place, with people who really cared about how guests felt and what they needed. The staff even explained the geography to me as a first-time visitor to Zurich. There’s a very convenient bus stop just outside the restaurant yard, which makes this a great place to stay if you’re heading to the airport. My room was cozy and neat, and the bed was purrrrfect! The restaurant has good food, plus grown-up ice creams served with different spirits. Verrry interesting, and I need to come back to try more. Breakfast had a sweet touch too: a nice lady made a pot of coffee for me while I picked from the little jars of jam. Quince, plum, strawberry with rhubarb. Good thing there wasn’t any wild strawberry jam, that would have been too much. That jam belongs with my grandmother.
