The drive up the mountainside is on a narrow, winding road, but the location is perfect. Reudi, the owner, is very friendly. Highly recommend.

I particularly liked hearing the soothing creek from our window. The setting is lovely, Rudy was a friendly host, and the rooms are simple but comfortable. Dinner at the restaurant was uncomplicated and good, and breakfast pleased us as well. I'm glad this little hotel exists and highly recommend it.

The rooms were very clean, and the staff were good. Isenthal feels untouched and beautiful, and this hotel is a lovely choice if you're after peace on a quiet morning walk. The restaurant was good, though all its red meat options were pork. I would have preferred beef. It was a nice experience.

This family-run hotel has a very good restaurant, with delicious local dishes. Don't miss the garlic cordon bleau if you like it. At breakfast, the local mountain cheese and smoked ham were excellent. The owner was very kind when we checked in.

The scenery was fantastic, and the village was lovely and welcoming. We had a great few days here, which let us travel over the mountain pass in both directions despite the weather.
