Hotel Go-In

The staff were all great, and breakfast was good. It’s clean and quiet, close to both the river and the mountains.

Update: We came back to the restaurant and stayed at the hotel for seven nights. It’s a rare find in the very kid-friendly resort of Sörenberg, and worked perfectly for our family holiday. The resort is relaxed and simple, a good fit for families wanting an easy getaway. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. Robert, our waiter, deserves a special mention, though we were happy with everyone. The restaurant has a focused, well-chosen menu with fajitas, beef fillet on a hot stone, red curry, and themed nights. Breakfast is simple but good, with what you need to start the day. Our room had plenty of space for four, with a mezzanine for the kids that made the layout work really well. The recently refurbished rooms have large modern showers. The hotel is right by the ski school, so kids can head straight out to their Swiss Ski School classes, and you can ski in. Hallenbad, with its fun slide and kid-friendly setup, is a 10-minute walk or a two-minute drive away.

Hotel Go-In is now my favorite place to stay in Sörenberg, and I’ll DEFINITELY be back. The view is BREATHTAKING, the rooms are beautiful and clean, and the staff are so kind and helpful. Breakfast and the facilities are amazing too. LOVED OUR STAY.

It works well for a ski weekend, but the food used to be better. The burgers we had the first evening were disappointing, so this year we chose not to come back for dinner the second night.
