Great food and tasty drinks make this a fun restaurant for young and old. There’s a special menu for kids, and the service is fun too. The little ones can spend the day on the huge playground, visit the zoo or play mini golf. If you like being around kids, it’s a five-star wonder world. I haven’t been there for dinner or a party, but in the evening it seems the kids gradually disappear, so it could be a perfect spot for a fun date, a birthday or dinner with friends. There’s live music from time to time, and the downstairs bar is a nice way to round off the day, or just come by for music and a few drinks at night.

Kids can see different animals and explore the outdoor play area, so it’s a great place for them. The vegetarian food was average, though. At first the staff didn’t seem very welcoming, but the person who seemed to be the manager was helpful and sweet to us.

The cordon-bleu was excellent, and there’s a lovely little zoo in a beautiful setting. They also had a great saloon-like bar some years ago, before corona.

We stayed four nights, loved the hotel, and thought it was great value. Breakfast was included and really good. They served us at the table and treated us like five-star guests. The staff were friendly, and our room had all the amenities and facilities we needed. It was hot during our stay, 11-15 Aug, so they’d already put a fan in the room. They’d really thought of their guests. It’s only a 10-minute drive from main Thun city. I’d definitely recommend this place.
