We spent five nights here and loved it. The hosts went out of their way to arrange vegan croissants, soy milk, and yogurt for me at breakfast, which was already wonderful, with fresh fruit and a great pasta selection. Our room had lovely views, and we enjoyed eating in the pretty courtyard. Narrow little paths wind around the hotel down to the beach, with stone, grassy, and stairway access to the lake. Locarno, the ferries, and the Brissago islands are close by.

We didn't stay at the hotel, but had a lovely lunch at its restaurant. The atmosphere was great, with live music, and the terrace service stayed quick despite how many people were there. It's conveniently right by the lake.

There's nearby parking in the blue zone. Prices are a little high, though still reasonable in my view. The food ranges from good to excellent, with the grilled shrimp and fish especially worth mentioning.
