The dinner itself was okay, and I liked the lasagna, but the whole stay felt uncomfortable. We’re a male-female couple, which may matter here. It’s a fairly small room in the apartment where the owner lives, and other rooms are used for things like sauna and massage services. The owner showed us our room but didn’t say whether we could use the living room. There was no lock on our door, which made us uneasy from the start. The advertised candlelight dinner began with no candles, so we had to ask for one battery candle. During dinner the owner stayed in the open kitchen, four meters away, using a smartphone. An opened bottle of wine was waiting for us when we arrived. We were charged 56 CHF for that, and 11 CHF for unbottled water, presumably table wine and water. With the owner’s permission, we tried sitting in the heavily decorated living room, but the owner and their partner had just started their own dinner. We thought four people would be too many in there. The bed was rather small for two, even by European standards. Around 4am, a low rumbling noise started and continued for several hours. Maybe it was the dishwasher, since the room is just behind the kitchen. Breakfast was a bit worse than dinner, and the fried eggs were noticeably undercooked. The website says some breakfast items cost extra. This might be a good place in summer, but without access to the terrace in winter, our experience was negative.

We found the perfect LIFESTYLE.CH for a special Mother’s Day getaway with my wife. Everything really was perfect, from the alcohol to the room. It was clean, and the hospitality, view, lobby, food, and balcony were all wonderful. We’ll be back! 😃
