Edith’s Alpenrösli feels cozy and inviting, with a beautiful Swiss landscape around it. Edith makes guests feel at home right away, and she even tries to communicate in several languages, including English. The local dishes and desserts were outstanding, made with fresh, quality ingredients and full of authentic Swiss flavor. You can tell how much care and passion she puts into both food and hospitality. It’s a memorable place for a meal with a view and warm service. Thank you, Edith, for making it so special.

We stopped for a late lunch while touring the area by motorbike. The views were amazing, the food was really good, and the staff were very friendly. The seasonal menu changes, so I’d recommend asking about it. They also have local game available :)

The dishes were full of flavor and clearly made with extra care, taking the taste well beyond what I’d call simply good. We were looked after really well, including our little +1, and the service was great. It’s worth the detour if you’re driving down the Griemsel/Furka path. Thanks so much!
