The staff were kind and helpful, and there’s a secure spot to leave your bikes. We stayed here midway through a bikepacking trip. The room was basic and on the small side, but clean and welcoming, with a nicely sized ensuite bathroom. Dinner at the restaurant was very good. A lovely little hotel.

We stopped in for coffee, but after a warm chat with the friendly, smiling Kateryna, we were tempted by the menu and ordered something to eat. So glad we did, it was incredibly tasty, fresh, and clearly made with care. The owners grow vegetables and fruit in their own small garden, and you can taste that in the dishes. The restaurant is right across from the train station, which is handy for travelers. It feels warm and cozy inside, with a fireplace and a homely atmosphere. There’s also a hotel upstairs in the same building, an ideal place to rest after a journey. We really recommend it! 🌿🔥☕🍲

“From the garden” was probably the phrase we heard most. The food was very good, service was quick, and the price was fair. Unlimited filtered water for CHF 4 is a great touch too.
