Sanne and Marco made our first stay in Switzerland feel like staying with family. They helped with whatever we needed, including looking up bus and train times, and even decorated my room for my birthday with a bottle of wine. Breakfast was delicious, and the comfortable room had a balcony and a view. The hotel is on the bus route, so getting to the next train station was easy. I'd recommend it to anyone visiting this part of Switzerland.

We only decided to book after arriving in Grachen, and were sorry we couldn't stay longer. The owners, a lovely couple, were kind and sweet, with a great sense of humor. They gave us a fantastic room with a comfortable bed and a great mountain view. They also helped us plan, checking availability for attractions in Zerrmatt and elsewhere in Switserland, and recommending a hotel in another region. Breakfast had a huge variety and was amazing.

Our favorite breakfast on the Haute Route was here, with plenty of food and lots of choice. We slept like logs in the really comfy beds, enjoyed their summer ale, and got a kick out of the quirky bathrooms. Sanne and Marco were such friendly, happy hosts. The shower pressure was great, and the pillows gave such good support that, for once, I didn't need an extra one at a hotel. We also found the beds comfortable, the food tasty, and the hosts wonderful and attentive. It's all centrally located in a fairy tale like setting. Top-notch!

The couple were incredibly kind and accommodating. They made sure we were comfortable throughout, and went out of their way to make my friend feel special while she was celebrating her birthday.
