Elisabeth took such wonderful care of us. My girlfriend and I stayed here before setting off on the Europaweg, and really enjoyed it. The room had an authentic decor, a super comfortable bed, and a gorgeous view. 10/10, recommend.

We loved the town, which felt laid back except during its Saturday night celebration, when it showed its unique character. We stayed at the start and end of the UTMR Stage Race, and I really appreciated the room and the above and beyond service from the nice woman at the front desk.

The hotel's surroundings are lovely, but our stay felt like a lottery because of the noise. About 3-4 people had an extremely loud conversation on the balcony from 18:00 until late, and it was terrible. I couldn't sleep at all. There was no hotel service I could reach at night. I strongly suggest the owner set a rule asking guests to keep the noise down after 10 p.m. I came for a peaceful vacation in a beautiful village, not to hear loud noise all night. It got better after we confronted the noisy guests, and the next day was good too.

The hotel was really nice and went the extra mile for our group of friends on a January ski weekend in Zermat. We had a great time, and the value was among the best in the region. I'd suggest booking transport to Zermat through an agency, since it can work out cheaper than public transport.

We stayed in the hotel's four-bedroom apartment, and the photo shows the view from there. The service was amazing, and it really has that mountain hut feel.
